Frightened rabbit concert!
Successful night!!
Tonight we tracked 4 songs! with some improv with vocals, it should be a background vocals session and hopefully we will have some guests up from NYC for that! (perhaps a certain twin). Nils was as patient as ever with his engineering chops, and Kush was on top of all that music perfectionism.
We will be doing a show end of may/early june, for the release party!! The Bi-coastal release...

back to boston
ON the way back home to Boston from NYC! met a lot of amazing people and amazing actors! Joan was incredible and it had it’s American premiere at Barnard as well! Congrats to the cast. It will be late when I’m getting home but a weekend well worth the trip!

So, I’m on a bus to NYC, (after recording some vocals last night with Nils and Kush, who were so supportive and awesome) and even more excited about the album..

soooo.. today has been another crazy day, tonight we are recording two songs for vocals so wish me luck, sometimes it’s fast, and sometimes we spend 3 hours on one song! Looks like vocals are shaping up nicely. So, now what we do have to record is:
french horn (isn’t that crazy?)
rhodes (keys, I didn’t know what it was)
organ
and then it’s go time!!
